Hi Reader, Hey lovely, There’s something I need to say - and it might be one of the hardest truths I’ve ever shared. One day, people are going to look back at how hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s were treated in our time… right now... …and they’ll be horrified. In the same way that we are horrified by the way mental health patients used to be treated in Victorian asylums They’ll ask: “How did they let so many women live half a life - tired, foggy, gaining weight, emotionally drained - and just… do nothing?” Because that’s what’s happening right now. And here’s the worst part: It’s not because they don’t know how to help. They DO! And it’s not because the answers don’t exist. A major study in 2022 showed that one particular way of treating people with hypothyroidism led to significantly lower rates of Alzheimer’s, a better quality of life, and a much lower risk of dying early. Not just a small improvement - a dramatic one. But here’s the thing... Almost no one knows about it. Because the system is painfully, dangerously slow to change. And you don’t have the time to wait for them to catch up. Did you know it took doctors over 60 years to start washing their hands before delivering babies - even after it was proven to save lives? That’s how slow change in medicine can be. So no - you can’t afford to wait politely. You can’t afford to be the “good patient” who suffers in silence while someone else decides your symptoms are fine. Because this isn’t just about fatigue and brain fog. If this is hitting hard, here’s what I want you to know:
You’re just not being told the whole story. But you can learn it. And it starts by realising that the person who’s going to save you… might have to be you. ❤️ With love and fire, P.S. We’ve got a simple, empowering course called From Patient to Powerhouse that gives you the starting point. - It covers the FULL story. And we’ve got a 30-day Weight & Energy Challenge coming up very soon to help you start making real changes, fast. 👇 PLEASE NOTE - I am NOT a Doctor or Medical Professional of any kind. |

Hi Reader, I want to talk about something I hear far too often from women with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s: “I’m over 50 now, so this is just my lot. It’s all downhill from here.” And you know what makes this worse? Doctors reinforce it. 😠 You go in feeling exhausted, gaining weight, or struggling to concentrate - and you’re told: “Oh, that’s menopause.”“Oh, it’s just your age.” As if that’s the end of the story. But it isn’t. The truth is: blaming age for thyroid symptoms is one of the...
Hi Reader, 💜 Today inside our community, the Hypothyroid Recovery Hub, we’re on Day 2 of the 7-Day Sleep Better Challenge - and we’re talking about something simple but powerful: sleeping like a cavewoman. Everything we do in this community comes back to living more like our ancestors – following an ancestral lifestyle that works with your body, not against it. 10,000 years ago, our ancestors slept in almost total darkness. Maybe just a flicker of firelight or a soft glow from the moon. That...
Hi Reader, Have you ever been told your thyroid labs are “normal”… yet you still feel exhausted, foggy, or stuck with stubborn weight? This is one of the biggest myths out there. 👉 Normal does not mean optimal. Doctors usually look at a wide lab range. If your number falls anywhere inside it, they say you’re “fine.” But most women with thyroid problems do not feel fine there. 😔 In fact, many of us still feel tired, cold, foggy, and heavy - even when our labs look “normal.” Why? 👉 Because...
