Hello Reader, It’s that quieter moment when things slow down again and the body starts sending little signals. For me, inflammation shows up like a check engine light. Nothing’s broken. It can look like:
On their own, none of these things feel dramatic. But together, they tell a story. The festive period is a lot on the body. More food, different food, later nights, less routine, more stimulation, more emotional load. And this is especially important if Hashimoto’s is part of the picture. And this is the bit that really matters: ❤️ Inflammation isn’t a failure. That check engine light isn’t there to scare you. It’s there to get your attention before things escalate. This isn’t about fixing everything overnight or launching into extreme changes. Once you can see the light on the dashboard, it’s much easier to respond calmly instead of pushing on and hoping it goes away. If things have felt a bit “off” since the festive period, you’re not imagining it - and you’re definitely not alone.
